What to Expect

 

Benefits of Tinting your Windows:

 

  • 1. Tinting reduces dangerous glare from the sun, snow, and other headlights; while increasing your safety while driving.

  • 2. Blocks over 99% of the harmful UV rays that may cause skin cancer.

  • 3. Protects your cars interior from fading, cracking and deteriorating.

  • 4. Tinting your windows can decrease the temperature in your vehicle by up to 60%; especially on those hot summer days.

  • 5. Protects your privacy and contents within your vehicle.

  • 6. In an automotive accident, the film will hold the shattered glass together, protecting the occupants of the car.

 

Drying Period:

Your new tint will take about 3 to 5 days to fully dry and cure, sometimes longer depending on the vehicle and weather conditions. During the winter, it will require a minimum of 7 to 10 days for roll down and use of windows. Your tinted windows may appear hazy or lumpy, and it may seem to have water bubbles. Please do not roll your tinted windows down or try to push the water out until dry! (The rear windshield will be the most noticeable.) 

JUST LET IT DRY AND CURE.

  

Cleaning:

Do not use anything that contains ammonia. Do not use any chemicals, scrapers, scrubber pads to clean window film. We recommend anything that is SAFE FOR TINTED WINDOWS cleaning spray, soapy water and soft micro towels are the best options.

 

Black Dot Matrix:
Most cars have a black ceramic edge on the rear window. Sometimes this ceramic edge is straight and flat, sometimes it will have a dotted edge. These black ceramic dots are thick and prevent the window film from sticking to the area between the dots. This results in a whitish looking strip trimming the glass. Usually this is not noticeable, however some vehicles have a bigger area of dots on the top of the rear window, therefore it will have a bigger area of whitish strip around the window. 

 

Imperfections:
Please be aware!!! Due to the nature of the product, some degree of dust contamination and or minor imperfections are present in every window film application.  Pre-existing flaws, glue or scratches and metal deposits on the glass are often much more noticeable after the windows are tinted.  Pet hair left inside the vehicle prior to tint application may end up in the film. Although we strive for the best job possible, contaminants do end up in the film. This is unavoidable and very common. These imperfections are not covered under warranty.

Do I have to drop off my vehicle for the day?

Yes, be ready for drop of a few hours until get your vehicle done correctly 

Why are there bubbles in my tint after it was just tinted?

You will experience clear bubbles with fresh tint. That is the moisture left over from the installation. After it sits out in the sun or heat, those will evaporate over a couple of days. If it is winter or cold weather, those will take a few extra days to cure out, usually about 7-10 days with cold weather. But not to worry! They will disappear!

Can I use my rear defroster after it is tinted?

Yes! It is safe to do so. Heat is great for fresh tint as it helps to cure and evaporate the moisture left over faster.

Are the little quarter windows included in the or are they extra?

The small quarter windows are part of the tint package. Not all vehicles have them, but if your vehicle has small quarter windows they are tinted along with the larger windows.

Is the rear window included in the price?

Yes, the rear window is included in all full vehicle tint applications except for the Factory Match option.

How long do I have to wait before I can roll down my windows?

3-5 days dependent on the weather. If the weather is hot, 2 days are recommended. When the weather is cold 5 days are recommended.
