What to Expect

Benefits of Tinting your Windows:

  • 1. Tinting reduces dangerous glare from the sun, snow, and other headlights; while increasing your safety while driving.

  • 2. Blocks over 99% of the harmful UV rays that may cause skin cancer.

  • 3. Protects your cars interior from fading, cracking and deteriorating.

  • 4. Tinting your windows can decrease the temperature in your vehicle by up to 60%; especially on those hot summer days.

  • 5. Protects your privacy and contents within your vehicle.

  • 6. In an automotive accident, the film will hold the shattered glass together, protecting the occupants of the car.

Drying Period:

Your new tint will take about 3 to 5 days to fully dry and cure, sometimes longer depending on the vehicle and weather conditions. During the winter, it will require a minimum of 7 to 10 days for roll down and use of windows. Your tinted windows may appear hazy or lumpy, and it may seem to have water bubbles. Please do not roll your tinted windows down or try to push the water out until dry! (The rear windshield will be the most noticeable.)

JUST LET IT DRY AND CURE.

Cleaning:

Do not use anything that contains ammonia. Do not use any chemicals, scrapers, scrubber pads to clean window film. We recommend anything that is SAFE FOR TINTED WINDOWS cleaning spray, soapy water and soft micro towels are the best options.

Black Dot Matrix:
Most cars have a black ceramic edge on the rear window. Sometimes this ceramic edge is straight and flat, sometimes it will have a dotted edge. These black ceramic dots are thick and prevent the window film from sticking to the area between the dots. This results in a whitish looking strip trimming the glass. Usually this is not noticeable, however some vehicles have a bigger area of dots on the top of the rear window, therefore it will have a bigger area of whitish strip around the window.

Imperfections:
Please be aware!!! Due to the nature of the product, some degree of dust contamination and or minor imperfections are present in every window film application.  Pre-existing flaws, glue or scratches and metal deposits on the glass are often much more noticeable after the windows are tinted.  Pet hair left inside the vehicle prior to tint application may end up in the film. Although we strive for the best job possible, contaminants do end up in the film. This is unavoidable and very common. These imperfections are not covered under warranty.
